Over 20 suburbs of Accra to go without water for 9 hours tomorrow.
Water supply toward the western piece of Accra will be cut on Wednesday for nine hours to permit engineers to direct a planned upkeep on the Weija Treatment Plant.

The Ghana Water Company reported Tuesday that supply to a huge number of homes in more than 20 rural areas of Accra and Central Region will be hindered from 8:00am to 5:00pm Wednesday because of the shutdown of the plant.

Zones to be influenced are Kasoa, Weija, Gbawe, Malam, New and Old Bortianor, Dansoman, Mamprobi, Korle-Bu, Awudome Estates, and Kwashiman.

The rest are Anyaa, Tesano, Abeka, Sowutuom, North Kaneshie, Kaneshie, Odorkor, Dakuman, Santamaria, and encompassing zones.

"Supply will be reestablished when the work is finished," the Water Company guaranteed and communicated laments for the bothers the shutdown is probably going to cause to the devouring open.

The Weija plant, with a normal generation of 120,000 cubic meters of water every day is the significant wellspring of water supply in Accra,
