Ghanaian footballer crumples and passes on in Zambia

Tragic scenes have played out by and by as a Ghanaian footballer lost the fight for his life in the wake of falling on preparing grounds in Zambia.

Equity Salasi Oko, a 25-year-old Ghanaian footballer who went for preliminaries at Zambian Division 1 side Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy crumbled and later passed on amid preparing, Central Province Commissioner of Police Chola Katanga has revealed.

Amid his first gathering with columnists in Kabwe, Katanga said "We recorded the demise of unnatural reason on 31st December 2018 where one Justice Salasi Oko, a footballer of Ghanaian nationality who came to Kabwe Youth Soccer Academy for preliminaries yet as he was running with the group he fallen. He was raced to Mahatma Gandhi and later alluded to Kabwe Central Hospital where he passed on".

He revealed that Oko was brought by Frank Simunji, a football operator and that his dad in Ghana has been told, including that conventions are being made at their government officials on how the memorial service will continue.
