Mr. Okudzeto Ablakwa Quits Appointment committee.

 Minister of Parliament for North Tongu, Mr. Samuel Okudzeto  Ablakwa, in a statement dated 30th March 2021 addressed the Speaker of Parliament  Alban Kingsford Bagbin, According to him "upon further days of thoughtful reflections and consideration, I will like to resign from the Appointment committee".

It's not yet ascertained what might led to such a hasty decision from the member of Parliament.

Mr. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa should have been part of the appointment committee to vet various deputy nominees. The MP who is noted for asking critical questions has made it clear, that "respectfully do take note that my resignation is with immediate effect and therefore I shall not be available for the vetting of the nominees of deputy Ministerial positions".

It is understood that the Speaker Mr. Alan Bagbin Kingsford will be in a meeting with the MP for a second thought.

Mr. Okudzeto also expressed his gratitude for the opportunity given to him to severe as a member of the Appointment committee in the 6th 7th and 8th parliament of the Republic of Ghana.
