South African student launches his smartphone brand.

Africans are capable of doing anything, but our problem is insufficient  fund or capital to kick-start our ideas.

In this 21st century everything, one way, or the other is linked to the internet. We order shoes, phones, and bags just to mention a few and within a sec it's at our doorstep, a global village indeed.

26-year-old South African student, Lesley Ncube has established his smartphone brand. It all started as a dream, according to him when he was 14years of age, he realized he's got a passion for technology and sports.

As a footballer things weren't going well for him, he later read about Bill Gates and how he started Microsoft word at a very tender age. This story according to him boosts his confidence to launch his smartphone brand in South Africa.

He started building his Shumi smartphones in 2014. His software and computer hardware company is named "Thatha" "Thatha" is a "Zulu" word that means "take"

"I work on all our products from the onset, including the software. This is also the reason why we decided on our domain (dot) so that South Africans and Africans will know that it was a local product and locally made", he narrated.

He urged other young Africa businessmen to chase their dreams and become a success in their field of endeavor.
