National Insurance Commission will Introduce a Vehicle Towing Service This Year - Dr. Bawumia


 The second gentleman of the land, his Excellency Dr. Mahammadu Bawumia has taken a step to tackle road accidents in the country.


The total number of crashes in 2021, 12,096 with 20,408 vehicles involved, 2,080 fatalities, and 12,380 injuries. 


Citizens, earlier this year descended on the government for paying too much attention to COVID-19 whiles ignoring the major problem, road accidents.


The vice president has taken a seat with the NIC when he chaired stakeholders meeting on measures to prevent road accidents.


A vehicle towing service will be introduced this year according to Vice, a decision Ghanaians applaud because it's been long overdue.

Reacting to this on Twitter, these are some accounts. Towing isn't the main cause and maybe less than 1% of causes of the road accidents. Bad roads are your excellency. I expected you to mention plans for dualizing inter-city roads.
