Since when did the hairstyles of students become a national issue - Ghanaians Troll Marhuguy

Tyrone Iras

Tyrone Iras Marhuguy had been refused admission to Achimota Senior because of his dreadlocks. The young boy in an interview said, Achimota is his dream school. He had been given a new school of which the administration happily received him but taken Achimota to court is what Ghanaians on social media can't get. These are some reactions:

'People asking why young Marhguy wants a court of law (Supreme court) to explain what it means for Achimota to be a dreadlock student. My country doesn't inspire learning and progressive humanity"

"I am super proud of the Rasta guy for taking legal action against Achimota School. We hope for the best"

"He will lose. Since when did the hairstyles of senior High students become a national issue? If they allow him then that means all the students have rights to do whatever to their hair whiles in school"

"My neighbor's son has grown his hair waiting to braid if he wins the case. So let's hope for the best"

These issue needs to be solved ones and for all, it's becoming a national disgrace and a torn in the flesh of Ghanaians.

We plead with the school and Tyrone's family to make ends meet.
