Mr. Aquah Kennedy, the construction manager, was allegedly assaulted by Shatta Wale and his gang. He has shared his side of the story on what transpired yesterday during the construction of the Nima road.
Below were some of his words;

"Yesterday, we were working on the Sam Ocquaye Avenue. We were doing some overlays within the enclave. I learn Shatta Wale's office is linked to the road we were working on"

"Shatta Wale drove into the asphalt we were working on. He approached the engineer on-site to ask him why they were working on a different road when he wasn't fixed"

"I told the engineer to continue with their work and Shatta Wale came assaulting me verbally"
"Shatta Wale left, went to call thugs. They raided the sight with at least 10 motorbikes. Each had a pillion rider. Fast forward, they
approached me to slap"

"One of Shatta Wale's guys came to me even before Shatta dropped. He told me he was coming. And I told him we've made provision for him to use to access his office"
"It's very disheartening that people will try to bring down our company down. I wish to state clearly that the company does not have any dealings regarding a private individual"

"Normally, before we work, the assembly makes sure that people of the community are served with notice. People are given prior notice"

"People do not understand the reason we block roads during construction. We block for safety. Not just for blocking sake"
"If nothing is done about this, it is going to deter a lot of people from being committed to working for the nation"

Mr. Aquah Kennedy, not taking the law into his hand has complained to the East Legon Police Station. They are putting the processes together to take the right action. He prays for a better outcome, if not he look elsewhere for solutions.
